The Real Charlie Chaplin, AKA Israel Thornstein

The UK recently released MI5 (the Queen’s domestic intelligence agency) files on the great entertainer, Charles Chaplin.

Like every single other Hollywood star, it seems Chaplin was born with a Semetic name and promptly changed it when stardom was put in his reach. (I’m looking at you, Winona Ryder.)

 

He doesn't even look Jewish!
